Reclaim Rest

It can be hard to see value in taking time to rest while we are endlessly trying to achieve and fit more into each day. But it is important that we work towards eliminating the ‘get more done’ mindset that leaves us feeling rundown and as though it is wrong to be receptive to our own bodies needs. Take time to pause and reclaim rest, as well as enjoy it without guilt. It is not sustainable mentally or physically for you to be ‘on’ all of the time.

Spend Time In Nature

It is important to detach from our daily routines and find sustainable ways to spend time in nature. While catching an early morning sunrise, going for a hike or planning an outdoor adventure are all very rewarding and beautiful ways to spend time outdoors, sometimes they also seem difficult to find time for in our busy schedules. You can gain just as much reward from walking outside at night to look up at the stars, sitting in your yard or a nearby park to eat dinner or going for a conscious walk around your neighbour hood. Listen to the noises and notice the colours that surround you. Take time to, quite literally, smell the flowers. Your body will recognise this time.

Embrace Your Sensuality

Sensuality is the pleasuring of all of our senses. Your sensuality is the tastes, smells, and textures you surround yourself with. Embrace your sensuality by experiencing new foods, exploring a range of ingredients with flavours that excite and newly inspire you. Surround yourself with fragrant candles and scents that awaken your mind, and wear clothes that spark joy, with a range of soft and comforting materials.

Embrace Your Creative Side

What did you enjoy doing before there was pressure to make monetary profit from your time? Think back to when you were a child, did you enjoy drawing and art, music, singing or dancing? Find something that makes you excited and inspires you, then do it for no reason other than the pleasure of doing it.

Attract, Don’t Chase

Don’t wait for others to validate you, raise your own vibration instead. Do this by shifting your focus onto improving yourself, instead of trying to improve how others perceive you. Develop healthy habits that align with the most authentic version of yourself and that support your mental and physical wellbeing. These might include a way of eating, additional movement into your day, or dedicated time to rest and reflect. By focusing inward, you will naturally attract people and opportunities that hold similar vibrations to the one you are transmitting.

Open Yourself Up to Recieving

Receiving shows strength, not weakness. Allow yourself to accept help where it is offered, and you’ll start to see all the places it presents itself in your life. Gracefully receiving creates connection, between you and the person offering. But always remember to show proper and genuine appreciation to complete these interactions.
